In its quest to proliferate the Waqf legacy of our noble Prophet saw,  the National Awqaf Foundation of South Africa (AWQAF SA) together with Jeddah  based Islamic Development Bank (IDB) Group) will be hosting  a “Masjid & Institutions Committees Waqf Forum” on Sunday,  24th November 2013

 

The aim of the Masjid & Institutions Committees Waqf Forum is to expose masjid committees and communities about  Waqf models  that have already been established in South Africa with a view to encouraging more  masjid & institutions committees to embark on income generating waqf projects to create self sufficiency and also to contribute further in the realm of social responsibility.

 

With this in view, it gives us great pleasure in inviting  at least two representatives of your committee to participate in this programme.   Due to limited time and space, we urge you to register for the Forum on or before 07 November 2013.

 Guest Speakers:  Hisham Dafterdar (Qaf Bank, Kuwait); Dr Muhammad Obaidullah (Islamic Research  & Training Institute, IDB, Jeddah) and Ulama.
