Quran Waqf

Awqaf SA has established a Quran Waqf that ensures the perpetual production of Qurans through the sustainability of the Divinely inspired Prophetic ﷺ system of Waqf.

These Qurans are distributed to masjids and Islamic educational institutions including masjids in economically challenged communities.

Along with our partners IPCI and others, the project to date has distributed over 290 000 Qurans in English, English Arabic Translation, and Transliteration across South Africa.

A Chichewa translation of the Quran was produced and was distributed to so many of our Malawian brothers and sisters who live and work in South Africa.
