Voice of the Cape Radio Station (VOC) together with Awqaf SA and supported by SANZAF have embarked on a project to repair and renovate much needed work on masajid in Cape Town and the Boland areas of the Western Cape.
Alhamdulillah 21 masajid will be allocated an amount of R10000 each for their repairs and renovations. The masajid will be selected by nominations received from the public. Closing date for nominations is the 26 June 2015.
At the same time a Masjid Waqf fund has also been launched. Members of the public are welcome to contribute to this waqf fund which will provide enduring sustainable funding for masajid and their respective communities. Inshallah.
