History of Dayah According to history, Dayah MUDI Mesra was founded along with the construction of the Grand Mosque, which Sultan Iskandar Muda (1607-1636 AD) had laid its first stone on. This dayah is located in Mideun Jok Village, Samalanga District, Bireuen Regency, Aceh Province. The first leader of this dayah was named Faqeh Abdul Ghani.
