Awqaf SA in collaboration with The Project Justice Trust and Iqra Book Agencies hosted a public talk to a small group of participants on Saturday, 28 November 2020.
“Crossing Boundaries” has been published in partnership with Awqaf SA and The Project Justice Trust. A portion of proceeds will go toward the development of cricket among school going children from disadvantaged backgrounds.
“Crossing Boundaries” author, Hoosain Ayob spoke about his career as a cricket player and touched on chapters mentioned in his book.
Participants were well entertained with the informative talk.
A Covid-19 protocol was in place.
This is what Sport Minister, Nathi Mthethwa had to say about the book, “Hoosain became one of the greatest South Africa fast bowlers of the century, yet he was never selected for our country. I thoroughly enjoyed the story of the great sportsman who never gave up.”
