Shahana’s 50 to 50

Awqaf South Africa calls on you to participate in an opportunity to contribute to Shahana’s 50 to 50

the campaign, which aims to benefit the Awqaf SA Fruit Tree Waqf.

Originally from Johannesburg, Shahana Mia has been living in Cape Town for the past 25 years. A

single mum, practicing as a Wellness Social Worker, the Founder of Tangent Holistic Healing; she

empowers individuals to stand tall and heal with ease and has a passion for nature and living life to

it’s fullest.

“I am humbled and grateful to my Creator for many blessings – this is an opportunity to leave a legacy

as I graciously step into the next phase of my life…

Roots build the foundation through the legacies of parents and grandparents. I am a seed from the

roots.”..

As a tribute to her fundraising efforts for these organisations and to continue her fundraising legacy,

the proceeds from the Awqaf SA Fruit Tree Waqf will continue to support the sterling work of these

and many other organisations and projects in assisting people that are most vulnerable and in need.

Your contribution to the Awqaf SA Fruit Tree Waqf will be invested in a Waqf and the returns will be

used to plant fruit bearing trees. Trees are important in public spaces, including schools, community

centres and suburban areas, etc. by providing shade and the harvest will be beneficial.

These trees will benefit the communities long term, as they are multi-generational.

Awqaf SA, as our leading community-based Waqf institution, mobilises Waqf Funds to place in longterm

investment projects to earn revenue to provide a sustainable income stream to fund

downstream projects.

We, therefore, request you to contribute generously to Awqaf SA Fruit Tree Waqf.
